The CRM enterprise edition overcomes the drawbacks of both the previously released editions and it can be used when the multiple divisions are required to access CRM from one platform. Service provider edition is an enterprise edition that is furthermore developed to accept internal requests from AD and external requests through IFD. Workgroup edition cannot have this type of license. There are three types of external connector licenses namely external connector, limited external connector, and full use additive external connector. Limited external connector provides read only functionality for the application to be used externally. Full use additive external connector provides the write functionality to a limited external connector kind of license.
